Individual Therapy

Individual therapy provides an opportunity to step away from the demands of everyday life and focus on what may be getting in the way. You may be dealing with a specific concern, going through a difficult transition, or simply recognizing that something in your life isn’t working the way you would like.

At Endeavor Psychotherapy Associates, our clinicians work with adolescents, young adults, and adults with a wide range of concerns. Therapy is individualized to the person, with an emphasis on understanding what is happening, identifying meaningful goals, and developing practical ways to move forward.

Individual therapy may be helpful for concerns including:

  • Anxiety, worry, or feeling overwhelmed
  • Depression, sadness, or withdrawal
  • ADHD and executive functioning challenges
  • Stress related to school, college, work, or relationships
  • Difficulty managing emotions or frustration
  • Low self-esteem or lack of confidence
  • Relationship or interpersonal difficulties
  • Major life changes or transitions
  • Feeling stuck, unmotivated, or uncertain about what comes next

Therapy That Fits the Individual

There is no single approach that works for everyone. Our clinicians bring different backgrounds, specialties, and therapeutic styles to their work and tailor treatment to each client’s needs, personality, and goals.

Therapy may involve developing coping strategies, recognizing patterns in thoughts or behavior, improving communication and relationships, strengthening problem-solving skills, or gaining a better understanding of yourself and the challenges you are facing.

An important part of effective therapy is finding a therapist with whom you feel comfortable and understood. When you contact Endeavor Psychotherapy Associates, we’ll learn more about what you’re looking for and help connect you with a clinician who may be a good fit.
