Endeavor Psychotherapy Associates offers secure telehealth therapy appointments for clients who prefer the convenience and flexibility of meeting with their therapist remotely.

Telehealth can make it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule and can be especially helpful for college students, young adults, working professionals, parents, and others who may have difficulty getting to the office consistently.

Telehealth may be a good option if you:

  • Prefer meeting with your therapist from home or another private location
  • Have a busy work, school, or family schedule
  • Are away at college but remain eligible to receive services from your Endeavor clinician
  • Have transportation or scheduling challenges
  • Want the flexibility to combine in-person and virtual sessions when appropriate

Telehealth for College Students

Telehealth can be especially helpful for college students who want to continue working with a therapist they already know or begin therapy while managing the demands of college life. Students may be dealing with academic pressure, anxiety, ADHD and executive functioning challenges, relationships, homesickness, increased independence, or the adjustment to living away from home.

For students whose permanent residence is in New York, our clinicians can help determine whether telehealth is an appropriate option based on where the student is physically located during sessions and applicable licensing requirements. When appropriate, telehealth can provide continuity of care during the school year, breaks, and transitions between home and college.

Is Telehealth Right for Everyone?

Telehealth can work very well for many clients, but it isn’t necessarily the best fit for every person or every situation. Age, privacy, clinical needs, comfort with virtual sessions, and the ability to participate from an appropriate location may all be considered when determining whether telehealth is appropriate.

Our clinicians can help determine whether in-person therapy, telehealth, or a combination of the two makes the most sense for you or your child.

If you’re interested in telehealth services, contact Endeavor Psychotherapy Associates and we’ll help you determine the best way to get started.
