Daniel Selmer, LCSW-R, Owner/Founder

Daniel Selmer, LCSW-R, is the founder and clinical director of Endeavor Psychotherapy Associates and has been working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families for more than 20 years.

Daniel specializes in ADHD, executive functioning challenges, anxiety, emotional and behavioral difficulties, social challenges, family conflict, and helping young people who struggle when expectations exceed their ability to manage frustration, flexibility, or problem-solving.

His approach is practical, collaborative, and individualized, drawing from Collaborative Problem Solving, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and other evidence-informed approaches based on the needs of each client and family. Daniel believes that difficult behavior is often a sign that something is getting in the way, and that meaningful change begins by understanding the problem rather than simply reacting to it.

In addition to his clinical practice, Daniel is the director of Endeavor at Crestwood Day Camp, where he works with children and teens with ADHD, executive functioning, social, and emotional challenges in a real-world setting.

Across both therapy and his work with families, Daniel’s goal is to help clients better understand themselves, strengthen relationships, develop practical skills, and become more confident handling challenges outside of the therapy room.
