Melissa Levy, LCSW

Melissa Levy, LCSW, has more than 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families in school and community settings. She works with children and teens experiencing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges, school-related stress, low self-confidence, peer difficulties, and challenges navigating everyday situations.

Melissa also has extensive experience working with children on the autism spectrum, helping them strengthen social skills, communication, flexibility, and confidence while building on their individual strengths.

Her approach is warm, practical, and collaborative, and she believes therapy should feel like a real conversation rather than something stiff or intimidating. Melissa works closely with parents to help them better understand what their child may be struggling with and develop strategies that can be used at home, at school, and with peers.

Her background in school settings also allows her to help families understand school-based supports, navigate the special education process, and advocate effectively for their child’s needs.

Melissa’s goal is for children to feel understood and accepted and for parents to leave with greater clarity, practical tools, and a sense that the challenges they are facing can become more manageable.
