Sarra Horner, MHC-LP
Sarra Horner, MHC-LP, RN, works with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults experiencing anxiety, stress, self-esteem concerns, relationship challenges, life transitions, and difficulties managing emotions.
Before becoming a therapist, Sarra worked as a Registered Nurse, giving her a unique perspective on the connection between physical and emotional health and the importance of understanding the whole person.
She takes a warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative approach to therapy, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused techniques, and each client’s individual strengths and needs.
Sarra particularly enjoys working with children and teens as they navigate school stress, friendships, social challenges, and changes within their families. She believes the relationship between therapist and client is an important part of the work and strives to create an environment where clients feel comfortable being themselves, talking openly, and knowing they will be heard and understood.
Sarra enjoys helping clients recognize strengths they may not have seen in themselves and become more confident in their ability to manage challenges both in and outside of therapy.
