Stacey Tanenbaum, LMSW
Stacey Tanenbaum, LMSW, works primarily with adults and adolescents experiencing anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, and other emotional challenges.
Stacey takes a warm, supportive, and collaborative approach to therapy and believes that a strong therapeutic relationship is an important part of meaningful change. She creates a comfortable, nonjudgmental environment where clients can talk openly about what they are experiencing, better understand patterns that may be getting in the way, and develop greater confidence navigating challenges in their everyday lives.
Her approach is individualized to each client rather than following a one-size-fits-all model. Stacey works collaboratively with clients to develop greater self-awareness while also identifying practical strategies they can use outside of therapy. She recognizes that beginning therapy, or opening up to someone new, is not always easy and takes the time to build trust and understand each client’s experiences, strengths, and goals.
Whether someone is navigating the challenges of adolescence, relationships, work, family responsibilities, or a significant life transition, Stacey helps clients gain perspective, strengthen coping skills, and identify meaningful ways to move forward.
Stacey’s goal is to help clients feel understood and supported while developing the insight, skills, and confidence needed to create meaningful and lasting change.
